Resetting Your Solaro Device
If you need to reset your Solaro QR1/QR1-UC or FR1/FR1-D device, you have three options depending on your needs.
IP Reset
Restore network settings while keeping your configurations:
Wait for your device to fully boot
Locate the IP reset button:
QR1 models: Front panel
FR1 models: Back panel
Press and hold for 10 seconds
Release when complete
This returns all network interfaces to DHCP mode, removing any static IP addresses.
Factory Reset via Firmware Update
For a complete reset that preserves your hardware integrity:
Back up your configuration file (.pjxml)
Perform a standard firmware update
Reinstall your configuration if needed
This method clears all configurations while updating to the latest firmware.
System Recovery
For comprehensive system restoration:
Contact your authorized Xilica reseller or distribution partner
Request assistance with a recovery update
Follow their guided process
This reloads the entire device operating system and file system.
