Enabling Dante Audio Connections

Configure your Xilica devices to communicate over Dante networks with these simple steps.

All Solaro FR1-D units come with Dante capability built-in. To activate:

1. In Designer's Project View, single-click your FR1-D device

2. Look for "Object Property → Dante Option Card" in the right sidebar

3. Select your preferred configuration:

   • Dante 64×64 (48kHz)

   • Dante 32×32 (96kHz)

4. Set "Object Property → Num Of Dante" to match your desired channel count

QR1 and QR1-UC devices also ship Dante-ready from the factory:

1. In Designer's Project View, single-click your QR1/QR1-UC device

2. Look for "Object Property → Num Of Dante" in the right sidebar

3. Select your preferred channel configuration:

   • 4×4 channels at 48kHz

   • 2×2 channels at 96kHz

Remember that sample rate selection affects the maximum available Dante channels on all Xilica devices.
