Programming Third-Party Control of a Xilica System

Xilica systems can be easily controlled by a third-party control system such as Crestron or AMX via the Xilica API. The API document can be found in the Xilica One partner portal or downloaded here.

To assign a third-party control object name to a parameter in your Xilica program:

1. Open the DSP device in Designer's Project View

2. Double-click the desired DSP module

3. Ctrl + click on the object(s) to select/highlight it

4. Right-click the highlighted object(s) and select "Create 3rd Party Control Object Name"

5. Name the control object and click "Ok"

Third-party control or named DSP modules will display a red dot at the top left corner of the DSP module.

The parameter is now ready for third-party control. Please refer to the Xilica API document for further information regarding the control protocol.
