Controlling Gio Devices from XTouch or a Third-Party Control System

Similar to audio parameters within a DSP program, or other Xilica or third-party modules, elements from Gio devices can be controlled from XTouch or a third-party control system using Xilica Designer version 4.8 or later.

To access and control Gio parameters:

1. Drag-and-drop a GIO BT module from the Component Library to the Project View design screen in the Designer software

2. Double click on the GIO BT module to expose its parameters

3. Ctrl+Click on the parameter you wish to control to highlight the control

   • For XTouch control: Drag the highlighted parameter to the XTouch window

   • For third-party control: Right-click on the highlighted parameter and choose Create 3rd Party Control Object Name. Give the Control Name a custom name. This is the name/control ID you will address with a given control string via the Solaro API.
