Managing XTouch Panel Resolution

Edited

It's important to accurately set XTouch panel resolution in Designer software before populating the panel with controls. If you need to change the resolution later, the panel's parameters will not automatically scale.

To find the exact resolution of the device running XTouch (whether an XT80, iOS, or Android device), swipe upward on the screen and look in the bottom right corner.

If using an XT80, resolution may vary slightly depending on the hardware revision. If the software preset doesn't exactly match your XT80 hardware, check the actual resolution on the panel, then enter that height and width as a custom setting in Designer software.

Note: XTouch uses "logical" width and height resolution. When mapping to an iOS or Android device, look up the "logical" resolution and enter that as a custom setting in the XTouch window in Designer software to ensure a perfect fit when loaded to devices.
