Retrieving Your Project Backup File

When using Xilica Designer in Network View, you may notice the option to download your project backup file is unavailable. Here's why this happens and how to fix it:

The download option appears in Network View → Device Setup → General tab, but only for a "master" Solaro DSP with Project Scheduler enabled. Without this configuration, your project file won't be stored in the DSP's memory.

Important: Neutrino and Uno devices don't support this backup feature, so always maintain a copy of your .pjxml file on your computer.

When you load a project to hardware from Designer's Project View:

1. Save when prompted — When the software asks to save before loading, don't select Cancel. Canceling will still load to hardware but won't save to the DSP memory archive.

2. Enable Project Scheduler — Make sure the device is designated as the "master" by enabling Project Scheduler in Project View properties.

Following these simple steps ensures your project backup file will always be available when you need it.
