Creating and Managing Presets in Xilica Designer

Xilica Designer offers three versatile preset types to save and recall your system configurations with precision.

Types of Presets

  • Global — Affects the entire device

  • Module — Affects a specific module

  • Item — Affects only selected parameters within a module

Creating Presets

Global Preset

  1. Select your device in Project View

  2. Right-click and select "Copy Device Values to Preset…" > "Create new Preset"

  3. Choose a slot, name your preset, and click "Ok"

Module Preset

  1. Open your device and select the target module

  2. Right-click and select "Save Module Values to Preset…" > "Create new preset"

  3. Choose a slot, name your preset, and click "Ok"

Item Preset

  1. Open your module and select parameters using Ctrl+Click (PC) or Cmd+Click (Mac)

  2. Right-click selected parameters and choose "Save Module Parameters to Preset" > "Create new Preset"

  3. Choose a slot, name your preset, and click "Ok"

Managing Your Presets

Add to Existing Preset

Highlight the device/module/item, right-click, select "Save Module Parameters to Preset," then choose your existing preset

Trigger Presets

Use the drop-down menu next to "No Active Preset" at the top of the software to activate any preset (active elements highlight in red)

Remove Items from a Preset

  1. Activate the preset from the drop-down menu

  2. Right-click the object you want to remove

  3. Select "Remove from Current Preset"

View All Project Presets

  1. Navigate to "Project" menu > "Project Presets"

  2. From this window, you can:

    • View preset details

    • Copy presets

    • Delete presets

    • Rename presets

    • Enable "Mute during apply" to prevent audio artifacts during activation
