Using Multiple Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 Microphones with the Solaro QR1/QR1-UC

Edited

The Solaro QR1 can support connection to up to two Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 (TCC2) microphones via Dante. Here's how to set up multiple microphones:

Setup Process

  1. In Xilica Designer, drag two instances of the TCC2 module onto your Project View screen from the Component Library

  2. Configure the first TCC2 module:

    • Right-click the module → Map Physical Device → Universal Control IP Setting → Setup IP Address

    • Enter the first TCC2's IP address and port number (default is port 45)

    • Use Sennheiser Control Cockpit to determine the device IP address

  3. Configure the second TCC2 module:

    • Right-click the module → Map Physical Device → Universal Control IP Setting → Setup IP Address

    • Enter the second TCC2's IP address and port number

    • (We recommend using a port number greater than 10000)

  4. Map both modules to their respective Dante ports:

    • Right-click → Map Physical Device → Dante Device Mapping

    • Select the appropriate Dante port based on the MAC address

Troubleshooting Dante Mapping

If Dante will not map correctly, verify:

  • The Dante IP address of the TCC2 in Control Cockpit

  • That the number of Dante input and output channels in the Lua driver exactly matches the I/O configuration of the microphone
