Determining Your Host Computer's IP Address for Designer Software Communication

The fastest way to see all active network interfaces and IP addresses on your computer is directly in Designer's Network View. At the top of this view, all network interfaces are displayed.

Designer automatically searches for Xilica device heartbeat messages across all interfaces, so you don't need to select a specific one.

1. In the Start menu, type "Cmd" in the search bar

2. When the Command Prompt window opens

3. Type ipconfig and press Enter

4. Locate your IP(v4) Address, Subnet mask, and Default Gateway in the results

1. Open System Preferences > Network

2. Select your Ethernet connection

3. Your IP Address, subnet mask, and DNS server information will display
