Configuring Gio XLR in the Xilica Designer Software
Gio XLR serves as a bridge between traditional analog audio devices and your networked AV system. It's perfect for connecting microphones from auditorium stages or lecterns, and for sending audio to mixing consoles or powered speakers.
Device Overview
Gio XLR is a versatile 2×2 mic/line to Dante, Dante to line audio interface, fully configurable using Xilica Designer software.
Getting Started
Discovering Your Device
When powered and connected to the appropriate network, Gio XLR automatically appears in Designer's Network View alongside other Solaro and third-party Dante-enabled devices.
Custom Naming
To assign a custom name:
Double-click the Gio XLR icon in Network View to open Device Setup

Identifying Hardware
In systems with multiple Gio XLR units:
Right-click on a Gio XLR icon in Designer's Network View
Choose "flash front panel"
The corresponding physical device will flash its LED, helping you match hardware to software
Programming Configuration
From Project View, drag a Gio XLR module onto your design screen
Double-click the module to access configurable parameters
Enable/disable phantom power as needed
Select the appropriate mic/line input level
Load your design to the device to update the hardware with your configuration
