Handling a "Load Config" Error in Xilica Designer

Edited

If you encounter a "Load Config" error when trying to go online with your system, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check Physical Connections

    • Test and/or replace the network cables between your computer and the Xilica device

    • Ensure all connections are secure

  2. Verify Sample Rate Settings

    • Look for sample rate mismatches between components

    • For example, if the Dante card is set to 96k in Dante Controller, but your FR1 and project file are at 48k, this will cause a Load Config error

  3. Confirm Device Names Match

    • Ensure the DSP block name in your project file (.pjxml) matches exactly with the unit name in Network View

    • To edit the device name, double-click the device in Network View and update it in Device Setup

If these steps don't resolve the issue:

  • Reboot the hardware

  • Restart Xilica Designer

  • Try loading a blank project file to the device as a test

  • If the blank project loads successfully, your original project file may be corrupted
