Preserving Run-Time Parameter Settings When Exporting Project Files

Edited

When you download a project file from the master DSP (via Network View → Device Setup), it only contains the configuration as it was originally loaded. Any parameter adjustments made during system tuning or operation are not included.

Capturing Current Hardware Settings

To preserve all current runtime parameter settings:

  1. Download the Project File (.pjxml) from the master DSP

  2. Open the downloaded file in Xilica Designer

  3. Click "Load Design to Device(s)"

  4. In the dialog that appears, uncheck "Load to device" under all Project Devices

  5. Complete the load process to synchronize the hardware's current settings with the project file on screen

Saving the Updated File

After syncing with the hardware:

  1. Click "Go Back to Design Mode"

  2. Save the file to preserve all current parameter settings to your project file

This process ensures that all your careful tuning and adjustments are properly documented in your project file for future reference.
