Exporting Third-Party Control Information from Xilica Designer

Xilica Designer makes it simple to generate a comprehensive spreadsheet of all third-party control object names for control system programmers.

1. In Xilica Designer, open your DSP device

2. Double-click the DSP module you want to control

3. Use Ctrl+click to select the parameter(s) you wish to control

4. Right-click the highlighted selection and choose "Create 3rd Party Control Object Name"

5. Enter a meaningful name for the control object and click "Ok"

Any module with third-party control assignments will display a red dot in the top left corner for easy identification.

1. From the top menu, select "Project" > "Device 3rd Party Control Manager"

2. A window will appear listing all assigned DSP modules

3. Right-click the window bar to customize which parameters are displayed

4. Click "Export to MS Excel"

5. Choose a location to save the file

This exported spreadsheet provides all the information needed by control system programmers to interface with your Xilica system.
