Every Xilica Solaro and Gio device has specific phantom power limitations. Staying within these limits ensures optimal performance and extends product life.

Exceeding these limits can lead to:

• Elevated internal temperatures

• Reduced product lifespan

• Potential system instability

1. Check each microphone's datasheet for its phantom power requirements

2. Add up the total milliamp usage across all connected microphones

3. Ensure the total remains below your device's maximum limit

Xilica Designer will provide warnings based on your configuration, but these are estimates only. The software:

• Calculates usage based on active phantom powered channels

• Uses average specifications for its estimates

• Cannot detect actual real-world current draw

Always verify your calculations against the actual microphone specifications for the most reliable system design.
