Troubleshooting USB Audio Connection to Xilica USB Card (XC-SUB) or Gio USB Network Endpoint

If you've established a proper physical connection between a USB audio device (such as a laptop) and a Xilica USB device, but are experiencing issues with:

  • No audio transmission or reception at the DSP

  • No mute or volume synchronization

The most likely cause is outdated USB card or Gio USB firmware.

To update USB card firmware:

  1. Download the appropriate firmware from the Device Firmware Manager in Xilica Designer software

  2. Right-click the associated DSP

  3. Choose IO Card Update (All)

  1. Download the appropriate firmware from the Device Firmware Manager in Xilica Designer software

  2. Right-click the Gio USB

  3. Choose Firmware update
