Mainboard BIOS Firmware Instructions and Download for Solaro (FR1/QR1)

If your current mainboard firmware is at the following versions or later - QR1 v5.2, FR1 v3.4 - you do not need to push a mainboard firmware update over USB.

If your mainboard version as shown in Designer -> Network View -> Device Setup -> General tab is QR1 v5.2, FR1 v3.4 or earlier, then one final mainboard BIOS update over USB is needed. Then, all subsequent firmware updates can be done with the above routine network update (CPU + mainboard).

Download the needed USB drivers: Download the Xilica USB driver for mainboard and recovery firmware updates

This procedure should only be performed at the direction of the Xilica support team.
